Chris Evans could be promoting Puncture in this day and age but you understand what online journalists are like, all we care about are comic-book movies and girls. Thankfully, Chris was happy to light up us concerning the former. But not such a lot at the latter. When pressed in regards to the changes to Captain America’s costume we have seen within the set pictures cropping up on that darn Internet, Evans told The Playlist: “The first (costume) was a 1940s look, very utilitarian, something that may serve a purpose at the battlefield." "But within the Avengers, Joss just had a definite vision in his mind about what he wanted Cap to seem like." "That’s what he desired to see. It’s so nice engaged on these movies and the director’s a fan. He’s the dude at Comic-Con that we’re frightened of pissing off. If Joss is happy, I’m happy.” Evans was also fairly frank in regards to the probabilities of him showing up in Iron Man 3 or Thor 2 or any of the opposite Marvel films currently within the pipeline. “Out of these six films, if I pop up in a single of these (other films), it counts as a part of the deal." "So in the event that they needed me in a 3rd Cap, and that i say, ‘Fuck you, give me $30 million.’ Well… they would like to bypass that.” As do we, Chris. As do we. And Evans even gave the impression to confirm Captain America 2’s release date. “They may wait until 2014 until they release the following Cap. Marvel has numerous balls within the air, they aren’t going to cannibalize their films.” Puncture is in US cinemas now, and can be released within the UK later this year. Avengers is out 4 May 2012 and Captain America 2 might be out in the summertime of 2014 (apparently).
