As employees of a contemporary movie website, it’s our job to position up set images and possible spoilers from films just like the Dark Knight Rises for the folk who wish to see them.
But what does Joseph Gordon-Levitt think he need to be telling us before the official trailer’s released? "Nothing."
Levitt, who plays special assignment cop John Blake in Christopher Nolan’s trilogy-closer, believes that folks should avoid any information at the film until Nolan is able to show it to us.
"I can inform you that probably the most things I LIKE most about Mr. Nolan is that he understands that the tale begins before the movie does. He’s already telling the tale that he is got cooked up. He’s a master storyteller.
Every bit of information he lets out, he does it on the proper time."
"Far be it for me to preempt the rhythm of his. I LIKE that folks are enthusiastic about it. I guarantee, as an audience member, one can have the most efficient experience if one just trusts him."
Or, to position it differently and to coin a well-liked internet phrase: ‘In Nolan we trust.’
