September 10, 2011 AMSTERDAM — Adobe ( is partnering with various broadcast solutions developers on the IBC show to make sure tight integration with its pro creation and delivery tools. The corporate is operating with Active Storage, Primestream, Chyron, FilmPartners, Harmonic, IPV, S4M, SeaChange, and Red Giant, among others.

In addition, Adobe has entered right into a strategic alliance with the University of Salford within the UK, a better education institution that gives opportunities in research and innovation. The institution is standardizing on Adobe Creative Suite CS5.5 Production Premium for its TV and new media curriculum across all 39 of its undergraduate and postgraduate programs. The integrated collaboration also encompasses training, research and development, and can introduce a dedicated VFX center on campus. 

Adobe is reporting a growth of twenty-two percent of its Production Premium CS5.5 video content creation tools year to year. Forty-five percent of that growth is at the Mac, and is attributed to Apple Final Cut Pro users who’ve switched to Premiere Pro.
